Frequently Asked Questions

When is registration?

There are two seasons each year, fall and spring.  Fall registration begins May 1 and ends June 15.  Spring registration begins December 1 and ends January 15.

How long does the soccer season last?

Each season lasts 8 to 10 weeks depending upon when teams start practice at the beginning of the season and holidays.  The fall season begins either the last weekend in August or the second weekend in September and ends the last weekend in October.  The spring season begins April 1 and ends the first weekend in June.  Each year begins with a fall season and ends with the spring season.  Players can chose to participate in one or both seasons.

What age divisions are available?

We have age divisions U6 through U18.   In our youngest age division, U6, players must be at least four years old to participate.  The age brackets are determined by the child’s age as of August 1.  These age brackets last for an entire year, August 1 to July 31, and two seasons, fall and spring.

Do boys and girls play on the same team?

All U6 teams are coed teams.  Beginning with the U8 division, we offer all girls teams and coed teams.  Girls are afforded the opportunity to play on either an all girls team or a coed team.  All boys play in the coed division.

How many games are played and when?

Each team plays 8 games.  All U6 teams play on Sunday between 1 PM and 5 PM.  U8 and U10 girls teams play on Saturday morning between 9 AM and 12 PM.  All U8 and U10 coed teams play on Sunday between 1 PM and 5 PM.  The older divisions beginning with U12 generally play on Sunday afternoon, but may have a few Saturday games mixed in, as well.

How many practices are held and when?

For U6 and U8 divisions, teams practice twice a week on Monday and Thursday.  For U10 and above, teams generally practice twice a week on any given day during the week.  Some coaches may offer the opportunity to practice more than twice a week.
