RECREATION PROGRAM OVERVIEW
U6
This program is for our youngest players aged 4 & 5. This is a basic introduction into soccer with the emphasis on having fun and scoring lots of goals.
The soccer calendar year starts August 1st of each year and your child must be of age by July 31st of that year.
Practices will start two weeks before the start of the season. Monday night will be a group practice and the team coach will schedule another practice during the week. There are 8 weeks of games, played on Sunday afternoons between 1:00 and 4:00.
Teams will have a maximum roster of 6 players, all Coed. Games are 3 vs 3 and will be played in 4 – 8 minute quarters. There are no goalkeepers, and coaches will be the referee. Ball size 3. Practice drills listed under coaches tab.

This program is for our next level players aged 6 & 7. This level is designed to begin improving their footwork and passing skills. The main goal is still to score lots of goals and have fun.
The soccer calendar year starts August 1st of each year and your child must be of age by July 31st of that year.
Practices will start two weeks before the start of the season. Monday night will be a group practice and the team coach will schedule another practice during the week. There are 8 weeks of games – GIRLS on Saturday mornings from 9:00-1:00, and COED Sunday afternoons between 1:00 and 4:00.
Teams will have a maximum roster of 8 players. Games are 4 vs 4 and will be played in 4 – 12 minute quarters. There are no goalkeepers and there may be a referee (if not coaches shall take turns each quarter). Ball size 3. Practice drills listed under coaches tab.
Coaches shall not park a kid in the back NO GOALIES, goal kicks are added in this age group. The current rule is that all opposing team shall retreat back to the half field line to allow the team taking the goal kick a chance to put the ball in play.
